Looking to close out its second-round series, the Thunder are one half away from doing so, leading the Lakers 54-51 at halftime.
The Thunder led 26-21 after a back-and-forth first quarter. OKC's biggest lead was six points, but the Lakers answered almost every bucket by the Thunder.
The second quarter was even closer, the Lakers took a 35-32 lead, but the Thunder answered with an 8-0 run to retake the lead. A Pau Gasol layup gave the Lakers a 51-50 lead with 1:16 left, but Metta World Peace received a late flagrant foul that was a questional call. The Thunder made four free throws to take a lead into the locker room.
You be the judge. It sure looks like Peace got all ball.
James Harden leads the Thunder with 13 points on 4-for-7 shooting. He also has five rebounds. Kevin Durant has 12 points, while Russell Westbrook has eight points.
Bryant has 19 points to lead the Lakers. Andrew Bynum picked up three fouls in the half and only played 14 minutes. As a result, the Thunder have a 29-23 rebounding edge. Bynum will be a key for the Lakers in the second half.
These bearded fans are hoping the Thunder will close it out.
