Two of the most dominant teams in the NBA this season will clash on Sunday in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals as the Oklahoma City Thunder takes on the San Antonio Spurs.
Oklahoma City bounced defending champion Dallas in the first round and dispatched the Los Angeles Lakers in five games in the second round. Only San Antonio stands in their way to becoming the elite team in the Western Conference.
The Spurs have looked like a well-oiled machine quickly dispatching the Utah Jazz and then sweeping Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and the Los Angeles Clippers in the second round. Average margin of defeat for the Spurs in those eight wins has been 14 points. They figure to get a much bigger test from the Thunder this time around.
Game Date/Time: Sunday, May 27, 7:30 p.m. CT
Series: Tied 0-0
TV: TNT
Radio: Thunder Radio Network
