Spurs Vs. Thunder Final Score: San Antonio Beats OKC 101-98

Game one is officially in the books and it was every bit as close and exciting to watch as predicted. The results were also as predicted. The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder last night in game one with a 101-98 final, and for those who missed it, the game was everything that the Western Conference FInals should be. But since the majority of NBA analysts predicted the Spurs to win, the Thunder are also going to have to serve notice, likely in game two coming up on Tuesday night.

Kevin Durant had 27 points and 10 rebounds, but the Thunder couldn't score down the stretch and after leading the game late, the Spurs eventually came back at home. Manu Ginobili looked brilliant off the Spurs bench, scoring 26 points on 9 of 14 shooting. Tony Parker added 18, while Tim Duncan had 16 points and 11 rebounds.

The Spurs are now up 1-0 in the series. The second game comes Tuesday night in San Antonio once again.
