Thunder Vs. Spurs: Scott Brooks Admits Serge Ibaka Should Have Played Late In Game 1

Since the Oklahoma City Thunder dropped the first game of the Western Conference Finals to the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday, there has been some discussion about Thunder head coach Scott Brooks' decision to leave Serge Ibaka on the bench while the Spurs at its way with the OKC defense.

Well, Brooks copped to the mistake Monday and said he wished he would've put Ibaka back on the floor. Ibaka was the runner up to Tyson Chandler for the NBA Defensive Player of the Year award this season.

In Sunday's loss, he played the fewest minutes of any Thunder starter, despite not having any fouls and the fact that Manu Ginobili was able to penetrate and maneuver through the paint at will.
