Christmas time for NBA fans has definitely come in June this year and for the season's main event the Oklahoma City Thunder and Miami Heat will play in the best-of-seven NBA Finals.
The road to get here for the Thunder in particularly is what's been so impressive about the young team whose three best players are all under 24 years of age in Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and James Harden. OKC hasn't waited to make their move toward prominence, knocking down the Western Conference juggernauts of the past decade (Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs).
OKC gets to end this storied run against the Heat, featuring league MVP LeBron James and 2006 NBA Finals MVP Dwayne Wade. Take a look here at the game schedule and broadcast information for Game 1:
Date/Time: Tuesday, June 12, 9 p.m. ET
Location: Chesapeake Arena
TV: ABC
