It wouldn't be out of line in the least bit to suggest that Scott Brooks is the inferior coach in these Western Conference finals, even though the two Oklahoma City Thunder victories were AT LEAST as impressive as the two San Antonio Spurs wins.
But OKC plays in San Antonio again Monday night where statistics show that the winner of Game 5 when the series is tied 2-2 usually goes on to win the series. And history shows the San Antonio Spurs have been unbeatable at AT&T lately (and period before the Thunder's exponential home-court advantage these last couple of games).
Still though, Brooks isn't getting too caught up with stats, history, or very little of it, anyway.
Scott Brooks: "Percentages, history, I don't really buy a lot into that. You play as hard as you can, and you can't worry about the past."

When it comes down to it, Brooks can't forget anything because the two games OKC lost are just as valuable to the memory bank as what went down at Chesapeake Energy over the last couple of games.
