Everyone was wanting to get a good look at Perry Jones III after the Oklahoma City Thunder selected him at No. 28 in the first round of the recent NBA Draft. The Baylor product fell farther than some believed due to injury concerns, but no one questioned his ability to make an impact in the middle. After one game, it looked like the Thunder might have a real gem on their hands -- once again. Instead, Jones is now out for the rest of the week, which includes the rest of the Orlando half of the NBA Summer League.

Jones will undoubtedly be ready for training camp, but this doesn't bode well for the future if injuries are going to continue to happen. However, here's hoping that Jones can turn the corner and turn into another force down low for a team that might have to make some important decisions on the long-term plans for Serge Ibaka and Kendrick Perkins.
