NBA Summer League: Dwight Buycks Scores 22 Points To Lead Thunder Past Nets, 87-86

The Oklahoma City Thunder topped the Brooklyn Nets, 87-86 in one of the more exciting Orlando summer league games to date. The Thunder were led by guard Dwight Buycks who got the start over Reggie Jackson who was given the day off to rest. Last season Buycks spent the full season with the Thunder's developmental league team working on his game.

Buycks to full advantage of his opportunity to score 22 points on 10-of-15 shooting from the floor, including the go-ahead bucket with less than 30 seconds which gave the Thunder the lead for good at 85-83.

The Nets had their own star player in former Kansas Jayhawk Tyshawn Taylor who was just as good as Buycks by scoring 23 points. Taylor started off hot by making his first six shots and ended up going 9-of-18 from the field.

Perry Jones III who was the Thunder's first round pick did not play on Thursday with a sprained ankle.
