The Los Angeles Lakers extended a qualifying offer to Ebanks last week, which means they can match any offer sheet that the 22-year-old signs.
The small forward averaged 4.0 points and 2.3 rebounds in 24 games for the Lakers last season. Ebanks was drafted by Los Angeles in the second round out of West Virginia in 2010.
