Team USA faces its biggest challenger to winning a gold medal this Olympic season when they face Spain in their final exhibition game. The Americans have made it through four exhibitions without a blemish already, even though it was a close call against Argentina when they let a comfortable lead slip and managed to escape with a 10-point victory.
They will want to play at a high level for the entire game against Spain, because this isn't one of those matchups in which Team USA can score and dominate the opposition in their sleep. Spain has the one advantage the Americans don't have going into this pursuit for gold - size.
Tyson Chandler's play will be critical, from defense, to rebounding and anything else he can do well against the stacked front court that is the group from Spain. Pau and Marc Gasol clog the middle, along with Thunder big Serge Ibaka.
