NBA Rumors: Thunder, Nets Interested In Lakers Guard Devin Ebanks

For all of the buzz around a myriad of players in the early stages of NBA free agency, a surprising amount can be found around Devin Ebanks of the Los Angeles Lakers. The second round choice in 2010 is a restricted free agent and early word is that the Lakers are keen on bringing him back. But that hasn't stopped the Oklahoma City Thunder, among others, from checking in.

Alex Kennedy wrote last night, "Ebanks has drawn interest from a number of teams including the Orlando Magic, Oklahoma City Thunder, Atlanta Hawks, Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers, according to sources close to the situation."

The Lakers have the right to match any offer due to the qualifying offer they extended him earlier this offseason. Banks was supposed to talk to the Lakers on Monday, per his agent, but those discussions were not confirmed yesterday. However it doesn't look like he'll be moving anytime soon despite the interest.

"Unless it's really a crazy number," his agent David Bauman told the LA Times, "Devin's preference will be to stay with the Lakers."
