2013 NBA schedule: Thunder face 76ers, Raptors

Oklahoma City will have two games against the 76ers and Raptors over the weekend to continue extending their lead in the Northwest Division.

Mark D. Smith-USA TODAY Sports

It doesn't look likely that any team is going to be catching the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Northwest Division. The Thunder are unquestionably the best team in their division with a 7.5 lead on the second-place Denver Nuggets, and will get two games to extend that lead over the weekend. They'll be looking to start a new home winning streak as well on Friday after dropping a rare game to the Brooklyn Nets in a game that featured Kevin Durant's first ever ejection.

There is potential for shuffling in the second through fifth places of the division with a couple of inter-division games and every team in action, but the Thunder will remain at the top no matter what happens elsewhere.

Here's this weekend's NBA lineup for teams around the Northwest Division:

Friday, Jan. 4

Trail Blazers at Grizzlies, 8 p.m. ET, Comcast Northwest

76ers at Thunder, 8 p.m. ET, Comcast Sports

Jazz at Suns, 9:30 p.m. ET, Root Sports

Saturday, Jan. 5

Trail Blazers at Timberwolves, 8 p.m. ET, Comcast Northwest

Jazz at Nuggets, 9 p.m. ET, Root Sports

Sunday, Jan. 6

Thunder at Raptors, 1 p.m. ET, Fox Sports Kansas

Nuggets at Lakers, 9:30 p.m. ET, Altitude 2
