College Station, TX (Sports Network) - Blaine Gabbert threw for 361 yards and three touchdowns, leading 21st-ranked Missouri to a 30-9 rout of Texas A&M at Kyle Field.

Gabbert completed 31-of-47 passes without an interception and Wes Kemp hauled in 10 of those throws for 89 yards with a pair of scores. T.J. Moe added six catches for 110 yards and touchdown for the Tigers (6-0, 2-0 Big 12), who played their first true road game of the season.

Missouri, which opened the campaign with a neutral-site win against Illinois and four home victories, has won its first six games for just the second time since 1974. The Tigers, however, will face a pair of tough tests the next two weeks with a home game against Oklahoma and a visit to Nebraska -- both currently ranked in the top six.

Jerrod Johnson connected on 27-of-48 passes for 322 yards with a touchdown in defeat, as Texas A&M (3-3, 0-2) lost its third straight game after a 3-0 start. The Aggies lost at Oklahoma State by three and dropped a neutral-site game last week against Arkansas by seven, but were never really in this one.

Missouri took the lead on its third offensive series of the game, driving 57 yards for a touchdown late in the first quarter. Gabbert offset a 12-yard loss on a sack with a 28-yard pass to Jerrell Jackson, then hit Michael Egnew for 17 yards to set up a first down at the A&M five. He followed with a scoring toss to Kemp, but the extra point was blocked.

The Tigers increased their lead in the second quarter with a 77-yard scoring march. A 24-yard pass from Gabbert to Kemp on 3rd-and-1 set up Kendial Lawrence's two-yard touchdown run for a 13-0 edge with 6:38 to play in the half.

Texas A&M finally crossed midfield for the first time on the ensuing series, as a 28-yard pass from Johnson to Brandal Jackson gave the Aggies a first down at the Missouri 37. After another first down, Johnson threw incomplete twice and was sacked for a 10-yard loss on third down to force another punt.

The Aggies quickly got the ball back after a Missouri punt, but turned it over on downs at the Tigers' 38-yard line with just 1:36 left in the half. Gabbert had plenty of time and marched Missouri inside the A&M five before the drive stalled. Grant Ressel drilled a 21-yard field goal in the closing seconds to send the Tigers to the break with a 16-0 advantage.

Missouri forced an A&M punt on the first series of the second half and drove 76 yards for another score. Gabbert's 45-yard pass to Moe set up a first down at the Aggie 15 and, after an offside penalty, Kemp hauled in a 10-yard pass for the touchdown to make it 23-0 midway through the third.

The Aggies finally reached the scoreboard with a 64-yard drive that ended in a 24-yard field goal from Randy Bullock with 2 1/2 minutes left in the third, but Marcus Murphy returned the ensuing kickoff 39 yards to the Missouri 44 and Gabbert needed just six plays to put his team in the end zone again. He capped the quick set with a 20-yard scoring pass to Moe for a 30-3 cushion in the closing seconds of the period.

Johnson threw a 26-yard touchdown pass to Jeff Fuller with just over 8 1/2 minutes remaining and the two-point attempt failed. The Aggies turned the ball over on downs at the Missouri 13 with 3:22 left and the Tigers ran out the remaining time.

Lawrence finished with 44 yards on 11 carries for the Tigers, who outgained the Aggies 417-379...Egnew also caught 10 passes for 87 yards in the victory...Missouri had seven sacks...The other 6-0 start for Mizzou in the past 36 seasons came in 2006, and that team finished 8-5...Missouri improved to 4-7 all-time against Texas A&M, including 4-3 since the Big 12 was formed in 1996. This was the first meeting since a 40-26 Tiger win in Columbia three years ago.

The Mizzou Tigers will be without their best defensive player for the third consecutive week.

DE Aldon Smith did not make the trip to College Station and will not play on Sunday, according to the KC Star.

Smith fractured his fibula last month and told reporters this week that he wants to return.

If he was close to returning this week, then it sounds like the Oklahoma game next week would be an option.

When the Mizzou Tigers line up on to play Texas A&M in College Station, Texas it will be the first time this year they've played in a state not named Missouri. They kicked off the season on a neutral field in St. Louis against Illinois and then four straight home games.

Now they sit at 5-0.

"We’re getting better each week and with a lot of the little things, attention to detail things that we need to do and we haven’t arrived in any way, I’m not implying that, we’ve got some great tests ahead of us, including this week, but it seems like we’re playing real well as a team, together, as a unit," said coach Gary Pinkel.

(And they're underdogs.)

It'll be interesting to see how long Mizzou's defense can keep this up. They're in the top three in scoring defenses for the NCAA coming off of a shutout of Colorado last week. That was an awfully good game against a Big 12 opponent. Texas A&M is the biggest test yet.

The rest of the way, they'll travel to Lincoln, Neb., Lubbock, Texas, Ames, Iowa and Kansas City.

Mizzou football is 5-0 for the fourth time since 2006. Their scoring defense is third in the country. They're coming off of a shutout of a Big 12 opponent (Colorado).

And they're 'dogs heading down to Texas A&M.

The oddsmakers are currently saying A&M is anywhere from a 3-3.5 favorite at home.

Mizzou enters Saturday's game against Texas A&M with some impressive defensive numbers. They're the third ranked scoring defense at just 11.2 points per game.

Last week, before the shutout of Colorado, they were 10th in the country. They've been hit hard with injuries and suspensions -- Aldon Smith, Will Ebner, Luke Lambert, Jasper Simmons, Jarrell Harrison -- but continue to put up solid numbers with their replacements.

This is Mizzou's biggest test yet and the first time this season they're underdogs.
