Here are highlights from the Kansas City Chiefs 42-20 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Highlights include Thomas Jones' 70-yard run, Dwayne Bowe's two touchdown receptions and Derrick Johnson's interception return for a touchdown. The Chiefs put up 42 points so there are a lot of good offensive highlights.

The Kansas City Chiefs did it. They beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 42-20 in an offensive rout with Matt Cassel connecting with Dwayne Bowe on two occasions. Highlights also include Derrick Johnson's pick-six and Eric Berry's first career interception.

Matt Cassel had 193 yards and two TDs on 13-of-18 passing. That's a huge improvement for Cassel on his completion percentage. He's now put up two straight very good games.

Dwayne Bowe had three catches for 81 yards and two TDs. He had two TDs last week so that's four in two games. Great

Thomas Jones had 125 yards rushing and a touchdown.

Jamaal Charles had one touchdown and 71 yards rushing.

Dexter McCluster had 28 yards rushing and 41 yards receiving.

The Kansas City Chiefs offense is looking good against the Jacksonville Jaguars at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs have extended their lead, 35-20.

Matt Cassel just hit Dwayne Bowe for their second TD connection of the game. The first TD came on a 53-yard TD pass and the second TD came on a diving six-yard catch in the side of the end zone. Replays showed Bowe barely dragged his second foot to make the score.

Last week Bowe had 108 yards and two TDs. This week he now has 81 yards and two TDs.

That's five TDs on the season for Bowe. After a slow start for the Chiefs offense, they've come alive in the last two weeks posting 30+ points each game.

Matt Cassel to Dwayne Bowe is all of a sudden a dangerous connection.

The Kansas City Chiefs defense is coming alive. After allowing 20 points to the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Chiefs defense stepped it up with Jacksonville deep in their own territory.

Jags QB Todd Bouman dropped back to pass eyeing a receiver across the middle of the field. He let go of the ball only to see Chiefs LB Derrick Johnson reach forward and snag it for the interception. DJ, inside the Chiefs 20, was able to take it into the end zone for a 28-20 lead.

Johnson's TD is the second interception return for a TD this year. In Week 2 Brandon Flowers returned a pick for a TD. It's also Derrick Johnson's third TD in the last seven games dating back to the final game of 2009 when he had two touchdowns against the Broncos.

It's a big week for the Chiefs. They're leading the Jags 28-20.

The Kansas City Chiefs are holding on strong in the second half against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Chiefs got the ball to start the second half and Matt Cassel capitalized hitting Dwayne Bowe for a 53-yard touchdown pass. It was Bowe's third TD in two games and the Chiefs longest pass TD of the season.

The Jaguars responded though coming back for a touchdown. The Jags drive was highlighted by a pass interference call on Eric Berry, who had just one penalty in his career at Tennessee. That play helped the Jags get into the Chiefs red zone where they capped things of with a Todd Bouman TD. Chiefs fans booed that play.....a lot. The fans were still booing ten minutes later when the Chiefs already had the ball back.

The Chiefs are leading in the fourth quarter, 21-20, as Bouman has put up 172 yard and two TDs on the Chiefs.

The Kansas City Chiefs rushing game has looked excellent all game against the Jacksonville Jaguars as the Chiefs have rolled out to a 14-10 lead in the first half.

What's surprising is the passing game. Matt Cassel has just six pass attempts but on the Chiefs last drive -- spanning 14 plays and over eight minutes -- he completed all three pass attempts for 51 yards. The passing game is non-existent other than that drive.

The Jaguars responded on the following drive taking it down to the Chiefs one yard line. The Jaguars benefited from a pass interference call on Chiefs' Brandon Carr putting the ball on the one yard line. The Chiefs held them to a field goal despite the 1st and goal placement.

The Chiefs running backs are looking very good as well. Thomas Jones' day has been highlighted by a 70-yard run in the first half. He has 107 in the first half. Meanwhile it's Dexter McCluster and not Jamaal Charles who is the second leading rusher with 30 yards on three carries.

The goal moving into the next half should be getting Charles involved more and ditto for Cassel.

Impressive that the Chiefs have passed it just six times in the first half and they have two touchdowns. You think KC likes that running game?

It was supposed to be Thomas Jones as the goal line back and Jamaal Charles as the shifty, fast back that gets the big gains.

The roles were reversed in the first quarter at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday.

Thomas Jones ripped off a 70-yard run that put the Chiefs at the four yard line. Responding on the next play was Jamaal Charles who punched it in from four yards out to give the Chiefs a 7-0 lead.

Here's an interesting stat for you: As of now, the Chiefs have -3 passing yards and 105 rushing yards.

The Chiefs defense is playing strong to this point and they're holding a 7-3 lead.

We've got a few surprises on the inactive list for the Kansas City Chiefs and Jacksonville Jaguars game today.

For the Chiefs, WR Chris Chambers is inactive for the second straight game. He had a finger injury last week but Todd Haley said he was healthy enough to play. I'm not sure what's going on here but I imagine Chambers' lack of special teams play has something to do with it. That's just a guess.

Here are the Chiefs other inactives: CB Jackie Bates, FB Tim Castille, S Reshard Langford, LB Charlie Anderson, LB Justin Cole, C Rudy Niswanger and DL Atiyyah Ellison.

For the Jaguars, QB David Garrard is inactive, as expected. His backup QB Trent Edwards is active but he will not start. Those honors will go to QB Todd Bouman, the 38-year old who hasn't thrown a regular season pass since 2005.

Here are the Jaguars other inactives: RB Rashad Jennings, FB Brock Bolen, OL Kevin Haslam, DL C.J. Mosley, DE Austen Lane, DE Aaron Morgan and QB Patrick Ramsey (3rd QB).
