The Kansas City Chiefs had little trouble with the Seattle Seahawks en route to a 42-24 victory on Sunday. The Chiefs were led by QB Matt Cassel, WR Dwayne Bowe and RB Jamaal Charles in the 18-point game in which Seattle never really had a shot.

Here's the good, bad and ugly from the game:

Good: The Chiefs had a TON of good in this game. Cassel ended up with 233 yards on 20-of-32 passing for four touchdowns while Bowe had three of those touchdown catches and 170 yards in 13 receptions. Those 13 receptions tie a personal best for Bowe. Charles added 173 yards on 22 carries and a touchdown. The Seahawks had no answer for Charles.

Bad: There's not a whole lot of bad in this game. KC really dominated from start to finish and put it away when they had to.

Ugly: The Chiefs had a field goal AND a punt blocked. The punt was returned for a touchdown. We're not sure what happened but KC later almost had another punt blocked. This was a major breakdown. They also had a huge breakdown in the second half as the Seahawks were able to hit a receiver that was wide open for a touchdown.

The Kansas City Chiefs are straight embarrassing the Seattle Seahawks 35-17 in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game. The Chiefs' Dwayne Bowe leads the way with three touchdown receptions in record-setting fashion. Bowe's first touchdown reception tied the Chiefs single-season record for receiving touchdowns with 12. His second one broke the record and his third one extended it.

Bowe now has a whopping 14 touchdowns on the season as KC's offense has completely dominated Seattle. KC's rushing offense has gone over 200 yards and Cassel has over 200 yards and three touchdown passes. KC's offense hasn't done much wrong today outside of a RB Jamaal Charles fumble. Charles is forgiven though because he has 155 yards and a touchdown to go with that fumble.

Meanwhile KC's defense is also dominating. Matt Hasselbeck has completed 17-of-33 passes for 181 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. LB Derrick Johnson has forced a fumble and LB Tamba Hali has recovered a fumble. Seattle has just 24 yards rushing.

It's 35-17 in favor of KC in the fourth quarter.

The Kansas City Chiefs passing game has been improving by leaps and bounds with each game this year and WR Dwayne Bowe is one of the big recipients of that. Bowe just caught his 13th touchdown of the year setting a new Chiefs franchise record. He passes WR Chris Burford on the all-time Chiefs record books.

Bowe's incredible season includes an incredible first half against the Seattle Seahawks. He's already caught two touchdown passes today and has a touchdown catch in seven consecutive games, also a Chiefs franchise record.

The Chiefs lead the Seahawks 21-7 late in the second quarter.

Bowe has already had one of the best games of his career -- and it's just the first half. He has eight receptions for 120 yards and two touchdowns. The jump he has taken the last two months has been nothing short of incredible. On the season, Bowe now has 53 receptions for 835 yards and 13 touchdowns. He leads the NFL in receiving touchdowns.

The Kansas City Chiefs last week unleashed a new formation -- the power I with defensive end Shaun Smith in at fullback. Smith lined up in that position twice last week and did it again on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.

Except this time he got the ball. Smith took the handoff at the fullback position, and powered through the goal line from a yard out. After last week's game, we talked to Smith in the locker room and he said after lining up as a fullback on two occasions last week -- and not getting the ball -- that he wanted to score.

"Hopefully I talk to Charlie about getting the ball next time," Smith said last week.

Do you think Charlie Weis was listening?

The Chiefs now lead the Seahawks 14-7.

The Seattle Seahawks blocked a field goal early in Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. The Chiefs had been moving the ball very well so Seattle's blocked punt came at a perfect time keeping KC's lead at 7-0.

Chiefs kicker Ryan Succop lined up for the field goal and the Seahawks' Craig Terrill broke through the middle of the field and blocked the punt sending it backward. The Chiefs then picked up the ball and tried to run with it before fumbling and Succop came up from behind and kicked the ball out of bounds.

The referees threw a penalty on the field saying Succop kicked the ball forward out of bounds, which is a penalty in this situation. Chiefs head coach Todd Haley the red flag arguing that a KC player had already picked it up and been ruled down by contact.

The officials reviewed the play and found that a KC player had indeed picked up the ball after the block, and was tackled and ruled down by contact.

The Chiefs lead the Seahawks 7-0.

The Kansas City Chiefs have been on fire lately in the passing game as Matt Cassel has posted efficient numbers over the last month and a half. He hit WR Dwayne Bowe for an opening drive touchdown against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday making it the seventh consecutive game Bowe has caught a touchdown pass from Cassel.

It's also Bowe's 12th touchdown reception of the season tying Chris Burford for the KC Chiefs single-season record for receiving touchdowns. To put it simply, Bowe's on fire.

Cassel looked very, very sharp on the first drive completing four of five attempts for 64 yards including the touchdown pass to Bowe. Bowe caught three of those balls for 40 yards. WR Verran Tucker added a 24-yard reception on the drive.

It's early but the Chiefs lead 7-0 and scored with ease against the Seahawks.

The Kansas City Chiefs have announced their inactive list for Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks and they'll be missing a couple of key players including WR Dexter McCluster and CB Brandon Flowers.

Here's the full inactive list for the Chiefs: WR Dexter McCluster, CB Brandon Flowers, FB Tim Castille, CB Donald Washington, S Jon McGraw, LB Charlie Anderson, LB Justin Cole and NT Anthony Toribio.

The Chiefs have been without McCluster for over a month now so they know how to play without him. He practiced in full all week so his absence is somewhat surprising. Replacing Flowers will be a combination of CB Javier Arenas, CB Jackie Bates and CB Travis Daniels.

Washington's absence is likely due to Bates and Price being active to replace Flowers at cornerback. McGraw was on the injury report as questionable with a head injury this week.

Missing for the Seahawks is WR Mike Williams, their leading receiver. His loss will help the Chiefs cope with the loss of Flowers.

The Kansas City Chiefs will travel to Seattle to face the Seahawks on Sunday in a game that anyone isn't quite sure who will win. The Chiefs are favored by one point in some places but others say pick 'em. Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll appeared on Sirius NFL Radio on Wednesday talking KC as his team prepares to host the Chiefs.

Carroll says QB Matt Cassel is having a solid year pointing out his TD:INT ratio. He says the Chiefs are asking Cassel to make a lot of difficult throws and do a lot of different things at QB and he's a good complement to the rest of the offense. He says Cassel's got quite a story coming from where he was to where he is now and also mentions that one of the last times Cassel was on the field at USC was recovering an onside kick as a tight end to beat UCLA.

Carroll says the running backs are "explosive", especially RB Jamaal Charles. He says Charles makes a ton of explosive runs and they can even go three running backs deep (WR/RB Dexter McCluster I assume) if they need to. He sounded like he knows the Chiefs plan to run it all day long if they can.

He says you can tell what the coaching staff thinks of TE Tony Moeaki because they consistently go to him and feature him as a receiver. Moeaki is suffering from a reported concussion in Week 10 against the Denver Broncos -- and missed Week 11 against the Arizona Cardinals -- so his status for the game is unknown right now.

He says Romeo Crennel is making great use of the personnel with a bunch of piece that fit together really well. He says they're versatile and they'll do a lot of different things. He was very complimentary of Crennel.

He says he couldn't get LB Tamba Hali on the recruiting trail years ago but he's a guy that you have to watch out for because he can make life pretty miserable. He says the Chiefs will line him up on both sides and fit him in wherever they can Carroll says it will be a good test for rookie LT Russell Okung.

He emphasized several times that things in KC "fit" really well together. He mentioned the coaching staff multiple times -- Romeo Crennel, Charlie Weis and Bill Muir -- and said they're coached very well. He says both teams are battling to maintain first place in their division so it's like a championship matchup.

Overall Carroll was very complimentary of the Chiefs and said it will be a tough test for the Seahawks.
