The Oklahoma City Thunder are playing their third game in as many nights and went up against the streaking San Antonio Spurs who have won their last three games. The Thunder's 108-96 snapped a six-game losing streak against the Spurs, and it was Kevin Durant who led the Thunder to victory by nearly landing his first ever triple-double by scoring 21 points, getting 10 rebounds and had seven assists. The Thunder also got help from James Harden who poured in 20 points

Both teams came into this game tired as the Thunder this game was their third game in three nights and the Spurs were playing their fourth game in five nights. The Thunder was able to use their youth to outlast the older Spurs lineup Sunday night.

With Sunday's win over the Spurs the Thunder became the first team this season to win three games in three days.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have announced that back up point guard Eric Maynor will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a torn ACL in Saturday's game.

Eric Maynor left Saturday night's win against Houston in the fourth quarter after suffering an apparent knee injury. Oklahoma City's worst fears were confirmed on Sunday as the team has announced the Maynor will miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL in his right knee.

As the back up point guard, Maynor was averaging just over 15 minutes a night and 4.2 points and 2.4 assists per game this season. Rookie Reggie Jackson will likely step into the majority of Maynor's minutes for the remainder of the season.

Jackson was selected by the Thunder with the No. 24 pick in the first round of the 2011 draft out of Boston College. He has played in three regular season games this season and is averaging 2.3 points per game.

Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder are looking to break a losing streak against Tim Duncan and the San Antonio Spurs.

Sunday's meeting between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the San Antonio Spurs will be the final game of a three games in three days stretch for the Thunder.

The Thunder took both of the first two games of the stretch, a home-and-home setting against the Houston Rockets. Oklahoma City defeated Houston 109-94 on Friday night but struggled in the rematch one night later eventually prevailing 98-95.

Now they will get a red hot Spurs team that has won three straight since losing Manu Ginobli for at least two months with a fractured hand. Many figured that Ginobli's loss would hurt San Antonio's offense but it hasn't happened yet as the Spurs rolled up a season high in points last night in a 121-117 victory over the Denver Nuggets.

Oklahoma City enters the game with a six-game losing streak against San Antonio. Last season, Kevin Durant averaged 23 points against the Spurs which was 4.7 less than his season average. San Antonio was also able to do a good job against Russell Westbrook who is shooting just 32.6 percent from the floor in his last five outings against the Spurs.
