Kevin Durant scored 28 points as the Oklahoma City Thunder extended their winning streak to six games with a 104-92 win over the New York Knicks

The Oklahoma City Thunder raced past the New York Knicks for their sixth straight win 104-92 Saturday night in Oklahoma City. The Knicks were without All-Star forward Carmelo Anthony but even he might not have been enough to slow down the Thunder on this night.

While acknowledging his team's victory, Kevin Durant humbly admitted that the Knicks were sorely missing Anthony from their lineup.

"We've got to put things in perspective, man. They didn't have one of the best players in the league tonight in Carmelo," Durant said. "But for us, we have to stick to our principles of playing defense. Any team can break out and score, and they have a lot of guys that can step up."

Durant finished with a game-high 28 points on 10-13 shooting. James Harden chipped in 24 points off the bench and Russell Westbrook missed out on a triple-double with 21 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists only because no OKC starter saw the floor in the fourth quarter.

Amare Stoudemire scored 14 points and grabbed six boards for the Knicks but was 7-19 from the field and committed a team-high five turnovers. Tyson Chandler and Toney Douglas also finished with 14 points each for the Knicks who fall to 6-6 on the season.
