G. Newman Lowrance

The Sporting Kansas City's Eastern Conference semifinal playoff game on Nov. 4 will be shown to a national television audience on NBC at 2:30 p.m. CT. This will be the 10th nationally televised game for Sporting Kansas City this season.

Their opponent has not been named, and they will be playing the winner of the Houston Dynamo and Chicago Fire.

Sporting Kansas City is 0-1-2 against the Dynamo, and were outscored three goals to two in those games. Against the Fire, they went 1-2 and in those contests they each scored three goals. So, their Eastern Conference semifinal game will be a very difficult challenge regardless of who they play next Sunday afternoon.

This playoff game will be on the road, and is the first of two in the aggregate-goal series, the second game will be played at home at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park on Nov. 7. The second game will be shown locally on KSMO-TV, and for those out of the area the game will also be available on MLS Live or Direct Kick.
