2013 Disney Pro Soccer Classic schedule released

Disney's preseason soccer tournament, which Sporting KC will be participating in, is slated to take place during February of 2013.

Sporting Kansas City will be one of six Major League Soccer teams participating in the Disney Pro Soccer Classic, a preseason tournament that is set to be held in February of 2013.

From the MLS, joining Sporting KC in Group B will be D.C. United and the Montreal Impact. The Tampa Bay Rowdies, from the North American Soccer League, complete the group.

In Group A, the Philadelphia Union, Toronto FC and Columbus Crew represent the MLS, while Orlando City from the United Soccer League fills up the lineup.

The complete tournament, which will take place at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Walt Disney World, will play host to eight teams in total, with round robin play in the group stages followed by the deciding championship round.

Group play begins on Feb. 9 and continues on Feb. 13 and 16. The championship rounds gets underway on Feb. 23.
