Sporting Kansas City spoiled fans with their start to the 2012 season, as they began the season 7-0 and raced out to first place in the Eastern Conference. Things haven't gone as planned for Sporting KC in recent matches though, as the club has dropped its last two contests against Portland and Montreal, and now look to avoid a third straight loss on Saturday, as Sporting KC travels to Chicago to take on the Fire.

The Chicago Fire currently sit in fourth place in the Eastern Conference, trailing Sporting Kansas City, the New York Redbulls and D.C. United. The Fire haven't done a great job of protecting home turf so far on the season, as the club is just 1-1-2 at home.

The match between Sporting Kansas City and the Chicago Fire is set to begin at 7:30 p.m. CT. Televised coverage can be found on KSMO-TV.
