Sporting KC Draws 0-0 With New England Revolution

Make that nine shutouts this season for Jimmy Nielsen and Sporting Kansas City. Once again, Sporting's goalie came up big to keep the New England Revolution from scoring in the team's latest match-up this weekend. However, the frustrating part is that SKC couldn't get on the board either, resulting in a 0-0 draw in front of a sold out crowd at Livestrong Sporting Park.

The Sporting defense was incredible all day, and New England only had three shots on goal for the duration. Nielsen's nine shutouts lead all MLS goalies on the season and it's his 26th shutout of his career.

With the draw, SKC moves to 11-6-4 on the season while New England goes to 6-9-5. Sporting Kansas City will host Montpellier Herault SC, French League champions, on Tuesday at 7:30pm CT.
