First-place Sporting Kansas City (13-7-4) will travel to Toronto on Friday to face struggling Toronto FC (5-13-5) as they continue to build upon winning the 2012 U.S. Open Cup last week over the Seattle Sounders.

Sporting KC was able to walk away with a 2-1 win over D.C. United in the first game since the Cup win and aim to continue that momentum against the last place Toronto FC at the BMO Field.

Toronto's home winning streak against Kansas City, dating back to 2007, is in jeopardy as Sporting KC features one of the stingiest defenses in MLS as as well one of the more dangerous shooters in the legaue in Kei Kamara.

DF Cyprian Hedrick (fibula fracture) and FW Jacob Petersen (shoulder sprain) remain out, with GK Jon Kempin doubtful with an ankle fracture.
