Thunder Vs. Trail Blazers: Game Preview, TV Schedule

The Oklahoma City Thunder and the Portland Trail Blazers are both coming off their first losses of the year. The two teams will face off tonight in Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are still licking their wounds after their first defeat of the season against the Dallas Mavericks. The Thunder came up short in the 100-87 road loss in Texas on Monday, but will have to return home tonight and try to get back in the win column as they host the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday night.

The loss against Dallas was a surprise in more ways than one. The Mavericks had been struggling mightily as of late, with only one win under their belt and just coming off a lopsided loss to the dreadful Minnesota Timberwolves when OKC came to town. The Thunder had been averaging 102 points per game and their 87 points in the loss to the Mavs was their lowest score in a regular-season game since February 27, last season.

Portland, meanwhile, is also coming off their first loss of the season, as they came up short against the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday. Their biggest concern coming into tonight will be hanging onto the ball. The Blazers have had a whopping 46 turnovers in their last two games.

The Thunder will be hoping to win the franchise's first four home games since 2004.

The game is set to tip off at 8:00 PM ET at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City. You can catch the local television broadcast on FS-Oklahoma.
